Rhinitis
Rhinitis is an inflammation of the lining or mucous
membranes of the nose. It is not serious, but it can lead to much discomfort
and inconvenience. For many people, though, it will usually clear up on its own
after a few days as generally its known as a temporary condition.
However, with some people, especially those with allergies,
rhinitis is a chronic problem that is nearly always present or that recurs
often. Rhinitis may be caused by irritants or allergens and symptoms include:
- repeated sneezing
- blocked or congested
nose
- runny nose
- itchy nose, eyes, ears
or throat
